Weekly Fortnite Challenges

Weekly Fortnite Challenges

Fortnite Challenges: The naming convention for missions here in Fortnite Chapter 2 continues to be something of a mystery. There was a sort of sense to them when the first showed up in Season X: the mission had a theme for the week, and all the challenges for the mission had something to do with that theme. Boogie Down, for example involved a whole lot of dancing. I don’t really know what’s going on now, however: the mission for this week is called “Trick Shot”, for which you might expect some shooting galleries or something.

Tomorrow’s Fortnite challenges have leaked online. The ‘Trick Shot’ mission bundle includes ten challenges and a special loading screen with the hidden letter “T” in it. The challenges were leaked by Lucas7Yoshi on Twitter. They include a good mix of combat challenges, harvesting challenges, dancing and so forth.

Instead, it’s just, you know, some challenges, none of which seem like they have a whole lot to do with this here “trick shot” concept. Who knows what’s going on there, but the upshot is the same: get those challenges done and level that passes. Here is the full challenge list for the “Trick Shot” mission and how to solve them, as usual courtesy of intrepid data miners.

  • Eliminations while at 50 health or less (0/2)
  • Consume Foraged Apples at the Orchard (0/3)
  • Eliminations at Weeping Woods or a Landmark (0/3)
  • Dance at the Pipe Man, the Hay Man and the Timber Tent (0/1)
  • Gain health with a small fry, a flopper and a slurp fish(0/1)
  • Eliminations with pistols (0/2)
  • Deal Damage with Shotguns (0/500)
  • Save yourself from fall damage by landing in a hideout (0/1)
  • Heal yourself within 10 seconds of taking damage from an opponent (0/1)
  • Search the hidden letter ‘T’ found in the Trick Shot Loading Screen (0/1)

There are actually some fairly interesting ones on here

Eliminations while at 50 health or less will be difficult to do on purpose unless you’re talented: I’d recommend dropping your health and trying to get one-shots with snipers, or just playing Team Rumble and hoping it happens naturally. Here’s where to consume foraged apples at the Orchard.

Eliminations at a landmark are one of the easiest location-based elimination challenges: they’re everywhere, after all.

Fortnite Week 2 Challenges

A new Mission is released every week in Fortnite Battle Royale on Thursdays and for this season there are eleven different challenges/objectives players need to complete in order to finish the Mission. Completing just eight of these challenges will unlock the weekly Loading Screen.

In previous seasons, the Loading Screen contained a clue as to where you could find a hidden Battle Star somewhere on the Fortnite map, but this has been changed this season as Battle Stars are no longer needed to progress in the Season’s Battle Pass. Players are instead required to find the letters of FORTNITE every week.

Here are all of the challenges/objectives you will need to complete for the Trick Shot Mission. Remember, you will unlock the Loading Screen for this week once you have completed any eight of the following objectives.

CLICK any of the highlighted challenges below to view a guide on how to complete it.

  • Eliminations while at 50 Health or less (2)
  • Consume Forage apples at The Orchard (3)
  • Eliminations at Weeping Woods or a Landmark (3)
  • Dance at the Pipeman, the Hayman, and the Timber Tent (1)
  • Gain Health with a Small Fry, a Flopper and a Slurp Fish (1)
  • Eliminations with Pistols (3)
  • Visit Named Locations in a single match (3)
  • Damage with Shotguns (500)
  • Save yourself from fall damage by landing in a Hideout (1)
  • Heal yourself within 10 seconds after taking damage from an opponent (1)
  • Search the hidden ‘T’ in the Trick Shot Loading Screen (1)

Fortnite Week 6 Challenges

Taking inspiration from one of the new named locations Dirty Docks, there’s a bit of a nautical theme running through the Fortnite Dockland Deal challenges for week 4. This fits in with the addition of boats and an increased amount of water around in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1, so expect plenty of action around the island’s waterways. For beating each of the challenges you’ll now receive a whopping 52,000 XP, to shift you even faster through the levels in Fortnite. Read on and we’ll explain how to blast through every one of the Fortnite Dockyard Deal challenges, as well as providing links to any other guides that will help you clear them quicker.

This fourth set of challenges are mainly based around Dirty Docks and boats, although you’ll also be using explosions to deal damage to opponents and their structures at various points on this list.

Eliminations at Pleasant Park or Dirty Docks (3)

Not much explanation required here, just head to Pleasant Park or Dirty Docks and take out three opponents.

Search chests at Dirty Docks or Salty Springs (7)

Likewise, try to get to Dirty Docks or Salty Springs early in a match for the best chance of finding unopened chests to search.

Deal damage with Sniper Rifles to opponents (250)

The easiest game mode to get sniper rifle damage in is Team Rumble, so grab a rifle then find yourself a covered position and take shots at opponents until you hit the damage target.

Jump a Motorboat through different flaming rings (3)

Some stunt work is required for this challenge, as you first need to find one of the Fortnite motorboats and then leap it off a ramp or waterfall through three of the Fortnite flaming rings.

Deal any damage to opponents by shooting exploding gas pumps (1)

You can now explode Fortnite gas pumps by shooting at them, and you need to do this when an opponent is close enough that it deals some damage to them.

Visit the Boat Launch, the Coral Cove, and the Flopper Pond (3)

This challenge takes in several of the landmarks on the island, so mark the Fortnite Boat Launch, Coral Cove, and Flopper Pond locations and swing by each of them to tick off your list.

Fortnite Week 8 Challenges

Fortnite Week 8 Challenges

As with every week, there is a hidden letter in the Loading Screen, which is the letter ‘T’. We will be releasing a guide to help you find the letter quickly closer to the time when the challenges go live in-game as well as guides for other challenges you may struggle with.

Finding all of the letters of FORTNITE will grant you the Mystery Skin for this season, so make sure you find all the letters before this season ends in order to claim it as it will not be available after.

Epic Games have also announced that Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 1 has been extended and you can read more about that here. They have also confirmed that there will be a Live Event during the festive time, so we do have that to look forward to.

Have you been completing all of your Fortnite challenges? Let us know in the comments section below.

Here’s what to expect tomorrow:

  • Eliminations with 50 health or less (0/2)
  • Consume Foraged Apples at The Orchard (0/3)
  • Eliminations at Weeping Woods or a Landmark (0/3)
  • Dance at the Pipeman, the Hayman and the Timber Tent (0/1)
  • Gain Health with a Small Fry, a Flopper and a Slurp Fish (0/1)
  • Eliminations with Pistols (0/3)
  • Visit Named Locations in a single match (0/3)
  • Damage with Shotguns (0/500)
  • Save yourself from fall damage by landing in a Hideout (0/1)
  • Heal yourself within 10 seconds after taking damage from an opponent (0/1)
  • Search the hidden “T” in the Trick Shot Loading Screen

These are fairly interesting challenges. I like the “save yourself from fall damage” one because it reminds me of leaping off of towers into haystacks in Assassin’s Creed.

What I very much do not like is how Epic continues to lock challenges behind completion of other challenges, meaning you have to pretty much do them in order instead of completing the ones you want at your leisure. This is very annoying and has made me less prone to completing challenges this season (and in Season X) than ever before in this game. I find it really hampers my motivation.

What day do fortnite challenges come out?

Fortnite season 9 weekly challenges are over, and season 10 doesn’t start until Aug. 1. To fill the gap, developer Epic Games will release a set of tasks called Overtime Challenges. Data miners found the upcoming Overtime Challenges in the Fortnite update v9.40 on Wednesday, July 17.

Where are the flaming rings in fortnite?

Motorboats were added in the new chapter and are found at various docks across the island. For this challenge, there are several flaming rings scattered across the map. Players will need to use the boat’s boost to fly through the rings and luckily, they are fairly close to each other.

Where is the hidden T in fortnite?

You can find the Hidden ‘T‘ on the crane at the docks. This challenge counts towards the “Alter Ego” challenge “Collect F-O-R-T-N-I-T-E Letters Hidden in Loading Screens” which unlocks the mystery skin for this season when you collect them all.
